ANTIQUE EXHIBITION

The first Mostra d’Antiquariato (Antique Exhibition) will be presented in the wonderful setting of Piazza Mazzini from 3 to 5 August 2016 from 5 p.m. to midnight.

The organisation was curated by Brandozzi A. & C Snc Company that has been operating in the Antique Exhibitions organisation sector for more than twenty years.
About 30 antique dealers coming from various Italian regions enthusiastically adhered; they will be hosted inside white 4x4m stands, creating a precious and fascinating itinerary among antique furnishing, dressing tables, cupboards, consoles, small chairs, chairs, tables and coffee tables, beds and bookshelves, and precious furnishing accessories such as silver plates, candleholders, plates, bronze figurines, ceramics and porcelains, carpets and tapestries, elegant art glasses, etc.

COLLATERAL EVENT
The antique exhibition is enriched with the collateral event ”Il Golfo di Venezia. Antica cartografia dell’Adriatico” (The Gulf of Venice. Ancient cartography of the Adriatic Sea) organised in 4x4 m stands in Piazza Mazzini.
The exhibition proposes a visual excursus of the Adriatic Sea area over the centuries through refined original maps of Italy from the XV to XIX centuries, coming from the “Gianni Brandozzi collection”. A journey through space and time searching for the roots of our territory, analysing the changes of the boundaries, toponyms, and political geography.
The didactic-cultural exhibition includes the exhibition of maps and views of the cities of the two shores, organised in chronological order, provided with captions and specific panels relative to the introductory essays.
