LIMITED TRAFFIC AREAS - ZTL
The Municipal Administration of Jesolo, for safety and traffic circulation purposes, pollution prevention, and protection of the users of the road, such as pedestrians, has decided to adopt also for 2017 limited traffic measures in the areas mainly involved by the influx of tourists.
For this purpose, it designates some seaside areas Zone a Traffico Limitato (ZTL) (Limited traffic areas), where circulation and stopping is prohibited for motor vehicles and circulation for scooters and other similar vehicles.
The ZTL will be operative from Thursday 25 May to Sunday 10 September 2017, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. of the following day.
Areas:
- via Dante Alighieri (section from via G. Gozzi to piazza Marconi)
- via Andrea Bafile (including the carriageway of piazza Brescia in correspondence of the same)
- piazzetta Carducci (section from via Bafile to via Bafile)
- piazza Mazzini (excluding the pedestrian areas)
- via Nievo (section between via Vicenza and via Zara)
- via Silvio Trentin
- piazza Aurora (central section)
- via Ugo Foscolo
- piazza Marina
- via Giuseppe Verdi
- via dei Mille
- via Levantina (section included between via Olanda and piazza Milano)
- piazza Milano
- via Altinate
Moreover, from 8 July to 27 August, from 9.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m., the circulation of four or more-wheel bicycles in the above-mentioned Limited Traffic Areas and on the cycling paths in those areas is prohibited.
During the periods in which the Zone a Traffico Limitato are operative, all the vehicles parked along the above-mentioned streets and squares must be removed by the owners within and not over the starting time of the same ZTL (Limited traffic areas).
Access and circulation in the ZTL areas are allowed with appropriate authorisation, for proven needs, that is issued by the Local Police Station.
