"ONDA AZZURRA" MAJORETTES PARADES
The Onda Azzurra majorettes will perform in four parades along the streets of Jesolo:
- Friday 17 June at 9 p.m.from piazza Milano to piazza Torino
- Friday 8 July at 9 p.m. from piazza Brescia to piazza Mazzini
- Wednesday 27 July at 9 p.m. from piazza Marconi to piazzetta Carducci
- Saturday 30 July at 9 p.m. piazza Rivo Alto
- Tuesday 9 August at 9 p.m. from piazza Marconi to piazzetta Carducci
The Onda Azzurra majorettes group was founded in 1977 in the City of Jesolo, and it has participated in parades in Veneto, Emilia Romagna, in the theatres all over Italy, up to Sicily, and even abroad, as for example in Austria and Croatia.
In the last years, the group has been performing with modern music adopting, apart from the pompons and batons (typical instruments of parade), also flags and cheerleading techniques, attracting an audience that includes all ages.
