ONDE SONORE - 7th INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

The Musica Viva Cultural Association and the Music Schools C. Monteverdi, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Jesolo, are organising the ONDE SONORE 7th International Competition of Modern Music reserved to Italian and foreign musicians who study modern music.
The aim of the Competition is to divulge music culture and stimulate young people to make music, form groups of modern music, and discover young talents.

The competition will be held on 13 - 14 - 15 March 2015 at the Vivaldi Theatre, in via del Bersagliere, and it will include the following Sections: I Soloists singers, II Drums and percussions, III Modern piano and keyboards, IV Electric Guitar, V Groups.
The award of the competition consists in Scholarships and a Prize-giving Concert that will be held in summer 2015 in Piazza Aurora and offered by the Municipal Administration.

The participation application must be sent within Sunday 15 February 2015 (as evidenced by the postmark) to the Competition secretary’s office:

Documents to be attached to the participation application:
• copy of a valid identity document
• copy of the membership registration fee payment receipt
• artistic curriculum vitae (optional but appreciated)
• bank money transfer

The calendar of the trials will be published on www.scuolamonteverdi.it web site on 5 March 2015.
The prizes and scholarships will be given at the end of the Prize-giving ceremony Concert that will take place on Sunday 15 March 2015 at 9 p.m. at the Vivaldi Theatre in the presence of the Authorities.
