From 22 September to 20 October 2014 at the Antiche Mura archaeological site there will be free guided tours organised by the University Cà Foscari of Venice – Department of Humanities, which is taking care of the archaeological excavation.
Guided tours for residents and tourists
every Monday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Guided tours for schools (from 25 September)
every Monday and Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. (every 45 minutes)
max 25 students per group
themes discussed:
- our origin: history of Equilo site with explanation of the excavations of the three churches and how the environment developed during the Medieval period
- how does the archaeologist work? Tour at the archaeological excavations of the ancient residential area

Moreover, on Monday 22 September at6 p.m. at the Gelli room of the Biblioteca Civica (Public Library) the exhibition with illustrative panels of the Alto Adriatico Archaeological Park project – Parsjad will be inaugurated; the archaeological site of Jesolo Antiche Mura is included in it and, at 9 p.m., in the Council room of the Town Council of Jesolo a conference on the theme entitled "Jesolo nel tempo - Prospettive e finalità di un nuovo progetto archeologico" with Prof. Sauro Gelichi of the Department of Humanities - University Ca' Foscari, will be held.
The Alto Adriatico Archaeological Park project - PArSJAd, financed by the Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013 cross-border Cooperation Programme, has the general objective of valorising the archaeological heritage of the Alto Adriatico coastal area, from the one of Emilia Romagna to the Slovene one, with a joint and cross-border cooperation, using cultural planning as governmental instrument of public intervention to implement the attractiveness and competitiveness of the territory involved.
Leader of the project is Veneto Region, while the 8 partners composing the partnership are: theInstitute for Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Emilia Romagna Region, Municipality of Bagnara di Romagna (RA), Municipality of Russi (RA), Municipality of Voghiera (FE), Regional Centre for the Cataloguing and Restoration of Cultural Heritage - Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Narodni Muzej Slovenije (Slovenian National Museum), University of the Litorale, Scientific
Researches Centre / Univerza na Primorskem, Znanstveno-raziskovalno središče, and Zavod za varstvo kulturne dediščine Slovenije / Institute for the protection of Slovenian cultural heritage.
