VII “ORFEO IN ITALY” INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL

The 7th edition of the International Arts Festival “Orfeo in Italia” the
international singing and dancing festival for children and youngsterswill take place in piazza Aurora starting from Tuesday 9 September 2014. Since its debut, the event has been the bearer of a message of peace and friendship among people.  

 The singing and dancing kermesse that will animate piazza Aurora with colours, voices, music, and dances from all over the world, will
end with the prize-giving ceremony of the participants during the final evening.

From 9 to 11 September also the Vice President of Bulgaria, S.E.
Margareta Popova, accompanied by the Ambassador in Rome and a delegation will be in Jesolo.  For the inauguration, a parade of the participating groups is scheduled; it will start from piazza Nember at 8 p.m. with arrival in piazza Aurora at 8.30 p.m. where the festival will start with the inaugural concert.

The event ends on Saturday 13 Septemberwith the gala concert in piazza Aurora starting from 9 p.m.
The following countries participate in the festival: Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, India, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldavia, Poland, Russia, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, and, Ukraine.
Orfeo in Italia is supported by:
Veneto Region, Province of Venice, City of Jesolo, Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria for Veneto Region, Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Serbia for Veneto Region and organised by Associazione italiana I.T.A.C.A.and Art Center Karnolskyof Sofia.

In case of rain, the shows will be held at A. Vivaldi Theatre in via del
Bersagliere.
