THEATRE ON THE BEACH 13th EDITION

The 13th edition of Theatre on the Beach, with the events of commedia dell’arte (comedy of art), theatre-dance, and music shows event organised by the Teatro dei Pazzi company arrives in Jesolo on Sunday 6 July 2014.

Sunday 6 July
“Storie di mare” - Teatro dei Pazzi

The musicians – fishermen, sitting among the fishing nets, hold the instruments creating charming sounds, thus attracting the attention of the people present and touching the heart of the listeners in the song-theatre style by Giovanni Giusto. The “Tibetworld” musicians  accompany Giovanni Giusto, his songs, and some of the most famous sea songs. The narration by Giovanna Digito embroiders the entire performance. Sea legends, nights under the stars, a bonfire on the beach, women and fears, make “Storie di Mare” a unique show, which once again characterises Teatro dei Pazzi.

Tuesday 22 July
“Shoes” - Tipi da Teatro

Original setting and atmosphere for an evolving show. A show inside a show. The performance becomes expression of creativity through the body, in contact with the surrounding urban environment, overcoming the obstacles, precision jumps, acrobatics, passing through what surrounds it in a flowing way. A show that will fascinate a young audience thanks to the performances of extraordinary dancers that range from breakdance, to capoeira, to the latest novelty from America, free running, and parkour.

“Guccini tra canzoni e letteratura” (Guccini between songs and literature) - I Luf

I Luf, have been active since 2000 and have performed hundreds of concerts. Their songs talk about everyday life, characters, and true stories, in the most poetic sense of the word. Small pearls of dialect, love for culture, popular tradition, and social commitment with a folk-rock touch.  The show pays a tribute to a great personality of Italian music, Francesco Guccini with the classical songs of the singer-songwriter from Modena, revisited in very original arrangements, not faithful, but respecting the originals. Literary insertions by Guccini, also called“il maestrone” by his fans, narrated by the voice of Giovanna Digito, and the best songs performed by the Luf, represent the perfect combination both for the very few ones who do not know Guccini, and for those who have never forgotten him.

All the shows start at 9.15 p.m.
