Ho visto sessanta volte fiorire il calicanto - Red Canzian in concert.
It is a show where the historic bass player of the Pooh group goes back over his long artistic life, accompanied by the Archimiaband: an extraordinary string quartet, two great guitar players (Rudy Michelutti and Ivan Geronazzo), and the polyhedric and refined Phil Mer at the piano and percussions. Two and half hours of great music performed by great musicians during which, Redwill alternate his role of singer and musician, for which he is well known, to the one of great narrator, actor, and humorous impersonator. A concert for families, where parents will have the possibility of going back and share their childhood moments, together with their children.

Jesolo Dance Contest
A hip hop culture rallying event, which includes all kinds of dance and that will allow ample opportunity to choreographic, interpretative, and technical qualities of the participants and their choreographers. This year, special prizes will be awarded to the best choreography for the theme assigned by the jury entitled "Il Dipinto". All the disciplines of both days can participate, and the choreography can include any kind of dance. Moreover, Jesolo Dance Contest will have this year an outstanding jury, as well as shows and performances of professional dancers.

The world legendary basketball players will perform at the Pala Arrex with an extraordinary show game. The Harlem Globetrotters are an important part of basketball history, a team that has even contributed in changing the uses and customs of society. Andy Warhol - The world fascinates me
“The world fascinates me” - is the title of the exhibition organised by the Cultural Department of the City of Jesolo and realised by MV Eventi, entirely dedicated to the “wizard” of American Pop Art who, through screen printing, was able to legitimise the concept of Art, which until that moment had been reserved to an élite, making it accessible to the majority of consumers, putting together wealthy people and working class, and becoming a symbol of political equality (the greatest thing of USA is the fact that the underprivileged consumers can buy the same things of the privileged ones).

Sei x Andrea – cronosquadre (Six for Andrea – Team time trial)
At its 3rd edition, 6XAndrea is a Team Time trial (about 90/100) for teams composed of six runners that will compete on a course of about 11.5 km to
be repeated twice. The start and arrival of the course will be in piazza Mazzini where, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., it will be possible to experience the competition and tension with the great cyclists. The event is organised by Xevents and Cicli Pinarello in collaboration with the Municipality of Jesolo, and the Consorzio di Promozione e Sviluppo Turistico of Jesolo Eraclea.

Saturday 24 May - piazza Mazzini
Moonlight Half Marathon
At its 4th edition, the Moonlight Half Marathon is one of the most appreciated and attended running competitions of Veneto. A half Marathon included in the FIDAL calendar with starts at dusk (8 p.m.) from the San Felice promenade of Punta Sabbioni, and characterised by a fast and flowing course that crosses the entire lagoon and the seaside of Venice with breathtaking landscapes at dusk. The arrival arch will be positioned piazza Mazzini where,
from the day before the race, a race village will be arranged, heart of Jesolo and Saturday evening nightlife. Moreover, at 6.30 p.m., the marathon village will welcome in piazza Mazzini the arrival of the Torch Run of the Special Olympics, the national summer games that will be held in Venice in the days following the marathon. The Torch Run is the event that precedes the Olympic Games dedicated to people with intellective disabilities, founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy (JFK’s sister) and recognised by the International Olympic Committee. The Special Olympics programme involves about 4000 athletes from 180 countries.

The event that will animate the seaside resort on 10,000 sq m of beach and at the Pala Arrex, proposes a rich schedule of activities to experience fitness completely. The programme includes the possibility to practice all the latest world fitness specialities, from aerobics to zumba, from pilates to spinning, without excluding muscle toning up with the TRX, body building, all under the supervision of prestigious national and international trainers. At the Festival, there will also be running, free climbing, beach volleyball, basketball, aqua gym, a spectacular Tibetan bridge, and an area dedicated to children.

From Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 June - pala Cornaro
1st Europe Basketball Showcase
The over ten-year experience of Gruppo Piubello in Udine, organises in Jesolo a professional basketball event. Four teams of players between 18 and 23 years of age, coming from all over the world will compete in a tournament, divided in two evenings, on the floor of the Pala Cornaro. A reason, a showcase, thus the title Europe Basketball Showcase, for the main players, the athletes, to show themselves to the experts and lovers. Athletes coming from South, Central, and North America, Asia, and Europe, for an international basketball event that over the years will surely broaden its followers in the world, starting from this first test in Jesolo.

Inspired by the parties of India and Thailand’s beaches, the Full Moon DJ Festival characterises the summer in Jesolo made of fun. It puts together
thousands of young people coming from all over northern Italy. Special guest of the 2014 edition is Chris Liebening, DJ of international renown. A unique occasion to dance barefoot on the sand of the magnificent venue of the Spiaggia del Faro.

Endurance Boat racing and Offshore 3000 Italian Championship
Promoted by the Federazione Italiana Motonautica and organised in collaboration with Yachting Club Serenissima and the Municipality of Jesolo, the
second edition of the Gran Prix Città di Jesolo is the long distance event called Offshore Speed Race, reserved to the monohull boats, both for fast leasure boating and real large size prototypes (ex Class 1) having remarkable performances. On Saturday 22 June, the teams will be presented in piazza Aurora after a long parade along via Bafile with the racers that will compete the following day in the sea of Jesolo.

Russian Cinema Festival
The arena of piazza Aurora transforms into an open-air cinema with the projection of very important films awarded at international level, in original language with subtitles in Italian. The films will be presented by the same directors. Free entrance.

The NBA-National Basketball Association – has announce officially that will support the third edition of the Gallo Camp 2014, a week in Jesolo dedicated
to basketball organised by Danilo Gallinari, player of the Denver Nuggets. 220 boys and girls with an age included between 6 and 17 will participate in the camp. As in the previous editions, Danilo Gallinari will be in piazza Mazzini Friday 11 July for a night dedicated to basketball in the heart of Jesolo “nightlife”. The other summers Camps are the following: Anza Camp - from 22 to 28 June, for the volleyball camp with the Italian National Team player Sara Anzanello; special guests other players of the National Team; Castro Rugby Academy - from 29 June to 5 July, for the rugby camp with Martin

During summer nights in Jesolo, literature will offer emotions, reflections, stories, and memories. After Emanuele Filiberto, Gianrico Carofiglio, Erri De
Luca, Piero Dorfles, and many others, we are impatient to know the names of the writers that this year will present their works to the City of Jesolo and its guests. Jesolo Libri event will start on 25 June and continue on Wednesdays in July until 6 August hosting important names of Italian literature and narrative fiction.

Sculture di sabbia in piazza (Sand sculptures in the square)
After 16 years of sculptures and beach combination, Jesolo and the sand sculptures Festival are going to change. The famous sand contest that, in 1998, made Jesolo the first beach in Italy to organise a unique event and imitated by other seaside places of our peninsula, changes location to make it relation with the people in Jesolo tighter. Four squares and committees will be involved
in the realisation of imposing sculptures higher than 5 metres; 11 sculptors will work in front of the curious tourists from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Apart from
the sculptures there will be also other artistic works (scenic designs, topiary, colouring). A competition for tourists that can vote and win a holiday in
Jesolo will be also organised.

Griglie roventi (Hot grills)
The tastiest appointment of summer arrives in Jesolo with a great challenge that involves not only barbeque lovers but also the majority of the audience thanks to an amusing and tempting show. The aim of the competition is to show their talent preparing in a pre-established time a mixed grill, assessed by a jury composed of professional chefs, operators of the sector, and journalists expert in food and wine that will vote for the cooking of the meat, taste, presentation of the dish, and appeal of the chefs who are becoming more and more competitive with colourful costumes and exhibitions. Grill, meat, aprons, and the inevitable chef hats are supplied by the organisation. Therefore, the difference consists only in the chefs abilities. Couples from all over the world, from Australia to South America, bring their tricks for a perfect barbeque. The event is not limited to the culinary competition: “Griglie Roventi” is a real show. Musical bands, comedians, and artists have successfully entertained an audience that over the years has exceeded the threshold of one hundred thousand people.

Hans Krankl and Monti Beton in Concert
For the 2nd consecutive year piazza Milano transforms into the meeting place between Hans Krankl, singer and ex football player of the Austrian national team and his numerous fans, many of whom come to Jesolo to attend his performance. Hans Krankl, the greatest Austrian football player, has felt at home in Jesolo for 35 years. Music has always been his passion and gave him the opportunitỳ to create a great show. The Austrian cult Group "Monti Beton" will support the singer and ex football player in a free and enthralling show.

80’ Voglia Summer festival
Three nights of music with DJ mix-sets that will go back over the 1980s. Gaddamix, Alberto Martin, and Simone Alunni will alternate at the console. On the stage of the “’80 Voglia Summer Festival” stars of the eighties such as: Joe Squillo (patroness and official presenter of the Festival), Papa Winnie
("Rootsie & Boopsie" , "You are my sunshine"), Righeira ("Vamos a La Playa", "L'estate sta finendo"), Ivana Spagna ("Call me", "Easy Lady"), Den Harrow ("Bad Boy", "Future Brain", "Mad Desire", "Catch The Fox") will perform live.

RANDOM DJ
A unique, original, and innovative format that will involve the entire resort and leave an indelible trace of Jesolo’s summer season. Thanks to the success
that sold out during the winter tour in the main northeastern cities, RANDOM arrives on the beach of Jesolo. It is an innovative evening created by the
group Il Muretto e Suonica. The event is a sort of “Summer Carnival” where all the participants are invited to wear masks, expressing their fantasy. The music selected by the Djs, as well as the fun and no-sense choreographies will transform the beach into a coloured and lively entertainment park of joy.

Jesolo Air Extreme
Great names of Italian and international aerobatics for a great three hour show at the charming beach of Jesolo. The spectators can admire the performance of our Italian aerobatic team Frecce Tricolori, the participation of the Sperimentale Italia, and the official presentation of the airplane Extreme piloted by the famous Fornabaio. In addition, many foreign personalities will participate in the event; their names will be revealed in the following months.

FIFA Qualifier Beach Soccer Cup
From Monday 1 to Sunday 14 September on the Spiaggia del Faro the qualification phases of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015, which will take
place next year in Gaia, Portugal, will be held. Beach Soccer, founded in Brazil on the beaches of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, has evolved over the years from simple fun sport on the beaches to the most followed and practiced sport on sand. Jesolo will host, for the first year, this important sports event where 30 nations will participate and compete in a tournament with 52 matches in 10 days plus 2 for preparation. The reigning Champion since 2013 is the Russian National Team.

Miss Italia - National final
The title for which thousands of Italian girls are competing for will be awarded for the second consecutive year in Jesolo. Also this year, the final evening will be transmitted on La7 channel on 14 September, realised by the television production company Magnolia. On the 75th anniversary of the beauty pageant, ideated in 1939 by Dino Villani and made prestigious and famous by Enzo and Patrizia Mirigliani, everything is renewed. The world changes, women change, and Miss Italia, as always, is in the front row.

2° torneo Internazionale Basket Città di Jesolo
(2nd International Basketball Tournament City of Jesolo) The pre-league championship of Series A basketball, will live its greatest moment at the Pala Arrex in Jesolo. The International Tournament City of Jesolo returns for the second consecutive year. It is a continental event for professional basketball. The four top teams are ready to start. The presence of the “home” team, Umana Reyer Venezia, which boasts a large number of supporters also on the coast and won the trophy of the first edition of the tournament in the final against Granarolo Virtus Bologna, is already confirmed. Semi-finals on Friday, and finals on Saturday for a weekend of basketball organised by EDSport and AMC Eventi e Comunicazione Srl, with the patronage and support of
the Municipality of Jesolo, and the collaboration of the Basket Club Jesolo and Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro (Italian Basketball Federation).

Master Club Championship National Final
The Master Club Championship National Final is one of the most heartfelt "over 35"athletics events. Organised by the Italian Athletics Federation it promises a weekend of passion and competition, rich in challenging matches to win the championships. Which team will win the Italian Master Championship 2014? The two day Italian competition includes 24 men’s and 24 women’s teams, coming from all over Italy, for a total of 700 people and 1500 competing athletes.
