MISS ITALIA A JESOLO

The title Miss Italia 2016 will be awarded on Saturday 10 September at the PalaArrex. The event will be broadcasted live, for the 4th time, on La7 television channel. The selections, which take place in the city of Jesolo, begin on 28 August and end with the evening event on 1 September.


From 2 September there are 40 Miss competing for the title.

There are three new sponsors: Alpitour, Tricologica, and Dermal Istitute apart from Rocchetta, Miluna, Lotto, Equilibra, Joseph Ribkoff, Kejrà, Interflora, Blanx and the technical sponsor Romeur.

This year, Miss Italia 2016 takes inspiration from the year 1946. The year in which our Republic was founded and in which the competition took its current name. The “Tricolore” (the Italian Flag) will be the symbol of all the events, scenographies, and posters.

Alice Sabatini who wears a red evening gown made of 3 layers of silk chiffon catches the eye. The dress, realised by the designer Graziella Pera, symbolises the importance of the date that announced our rebirth after the war. Also this year candidates starting from 18 years of age (turned 18 within 31 August) to 30 (turned 30 within 31 December) and Sporty Miss of Sports and girls that, born in Italy to foreign parents, still do not have Italian citizenship can participate in the event. A novelty is the presence of curvy candidates that in our competition are constantly increasing: on occasion of the event in Jesolo for the title of Miss Italia, for the first time in this category 19 titles, the same number of the titles of the other category, will be attributed.
