Walk with the experts of the valley environment, history, and traditions of the Salsi area
The Salsilonga is a walk to discover the Salsi territory, the tastes of our land among, nature, history, and local products, that will take place on Sunday 10 June 2018 along the S. Marco bank and the Piave Vecchia bank, with free start from Casa Carpenedo (pedestrian bridge) in via Salsi, between 8.30 and 9.30 a.m.
Some refreshments points are prearranged, there it is possible to listen to explanations regarding the flora and fauna of the Salsi, lagoon, and its valleys, fishing and rowing techniques, and taste the local typical products.
At the end of the itinerary the participants can eat lunch outside with a packed lunch or eat a meal prepared by the volunteers of the Parish Church Presentazione Beata Vergine Maria di Santa Maria di Piave in a purposely equipped area.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held on Sunday 18 June 2018.
