Jesolo capital of dance
From 28 July to 4 August 2018 the 7th edition of Jesolo Dance Festival will take place at Palacornaro: eight days of "full immersion" with the best dance teachers at national and international level; among these Sabrina Brazzo, Andrea Volpintesta, Damiano Bisozzi, Fabrizio Mainini, Giovanni Rosaci, Valerio Longo, Mauro Mosconi, and many others.
The initiative is open to both professionals and non professional dancers and it is divided into age groups with courses for kids from 7 to 10 years of age, others for those whose age ranges between 11 and 13, and finally courses for teenagers over 14; courses are divided into ballet, modern, contemporary, musical, laboratory of choreography, theatre-play, and stage presence.
Moreover, at the amphitheatre in piazza Aurora:
- 28 July at 21.00: final of the "Vetrina giovani compagnie" competition with a very special jury: Rossella Brescia and Luciano Mattia Cannito, Sabrina Brazzo and Andrea Volpintesta; the winning choreographer will participate as dance teacher in one of the two successive Festivals - Jesolo, Salento – and will perform with his/her company in 2019 in a show in piazza Aurora.
- 31 July at 21:00: dance show with the emerging company Vere Sustanze, artistic director Michael D’Adamio
- 2 August at 21:00: dance show with the emerging company The Lab contemporary collective, artistic director Grazia Rita Nistri
- 4 August at 21:00: final gala of Jesolo Dance Festival participants
PlaybillJesolo Dance Festival has the patronage of the Municipality of Jesolo and Veneto Region and is organised by Associazione Culturale Labirinto, with the artistic direction by Maria Meoni.
