2018 SAND SCULPTURES – SAND RAPTORS

From 4 June to 9 September – an outdoor exhibition

For the summer of 2018, the Sand Sculptures exhibition returns to Jesolo, remaining open from 4 June to 9 September 2018 in Piazza Brescia. Professional sculptors from all over the world have gathered to create their masterpieces on the theme of Sand Raptors.

Piazza Brescia will be transformed into a prehistoric jungle where, between one maritime pine and another, a Tyrannosaurus Rex will soar in combat with a Velociraptor, long-necked and long-tailed herbivores like Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus, and even Triceratops and Stegosauri.
The exhibition will be complemented by reproductions of such prehistoric specimens from the Jesolo Museum of Natural History as the Dilophosaurus, the Velociraptor, the Protoceratops, the Coelophysis, and the Ichthyosaurus.

The outdoor exhibition offers free admission and is open at any hour.
Beginning 20 May, the artists can be seen at work.
